[The Ultimate Showdown]

Hmm....

I shall give you a short review, and a long review.

Short:

If you were trying to get the award for 'Most Underwhelming Flash Of The Year Award', well, congratulations, sir! The Award's not very flashy, but it's got a pretty cool nameplate. That's all that matters right?

Long:

No. No, no, no. It's not all that matters. Because most stuff isn't judged based on one category. There wasn't a single good fight scene in there. The animation was incredibly amateur, and there were so many opportunities for humor. The only good part was Chuck Norris. Seriously man, if Chuck Norris is the only good thing in a movie, that's pretty damn pathetic.

And even the song wasn't that great. The rhymes were good for the most part, but a few were reaching. The vocals were mediocre and some of the lyrics didn't even make sense. It's not a Destiny at all. Where the fuck's the Destiny?

I'm not sure how this beat LittleFoot. I've lost complete and utter confidence in NG, since it clearly can't tell the difference between a masterpiece and an average, useless flash such as this.

Ebaum's World Dot Com was only good because the lyrics were clever in the sense that they fit in with an actual event and dissed an actual person. This has no meaning and no wit.

Not Bad

The way you revealed the text all the time annoyed me, though, and a lot of the FBF wasn't great. Also, 'alot' isn't a word.

Other than that, it's nothing special, but you definitely have talent. Try using your skills for something that hasn't been done (ie, a love story based on a crappy poem set to some music from an anime, which is essentially what you did, though I've seen worse).

Anyhoo, good work, I guess.

I'd say that the animation is embarrassing...

...But then I remembered that Chris Boe animated your past few movies. And Alfred got old. Seriously. You used him so much, that when his movie came out, he was annoying as hell. And finally, it wasn't funny. You've lost your touch, I'm afraid. Better luck next time.

Brilliant Idea

However, I expected it to be an explanation of actual Super Mario Physics, and not real life physics. Also, the Lakitu's voice annoyed me.

Lame Attempt to Showcase Sprites

I HATE music videos like this. There's no writing or plot involved, all it is is the song and a bunch of cheap, unorganized montages. Stop playing on NG's obsession with Japan, and go write and draw something. Don't take away from people who actually tried to make a decent flash.

Although, if you made the sprites yourself (which you probably didn't), they're not bad at all. Put them on TSGK where they belong, not in a underwhelming flash.
